how it all began
Hair oiling? What is that?
Have you ever heard of hair oiling? I mean I never did. I actually stumbled across the technique (thankfully) after I had exhausted all options. When I say I tried Every.Single.Thing, I really did. Nothing seemed to tame, smooth or thicken my hair. Don't even get me started on the post partum hair loss.
See I'm a scientist and research is second nature to me. I spent hours upon hours researching sometimes in the middle of the night (thank you baby) until I came across the technique of hair oiling. This ritual is almost as old as time and practised all across the globe.
I went out the next day to find this hair oil that was going to help my dry, thinning and postpartum hair. Until I realised there were no real hair oils out there. They were either full of damaging silicones, chemical laced or too oily and strong in scent.
So, of course the scientist in me went on a mission to formulate my own. Through trials and well more research I came up with the perfect formula. It was the magical result of nature + science.
I used this oil weekly and instantly my hair looked smoother. It was more manageable to style. I did not think much else of it until some time passed and every one I saw asked what did you do to your hair. That's when I really noticed, it had completely transformed. The texture was smoother, much smoother. The frizz almost eliminated and the regrowth was phenomenal. Where did my thinning patches go. How is this possible? This is MAGIC. No one believed this was the result of oiling until they tried it for themselves.
See I wouldn't have either. The big brands have been selling me an extravagant 10 step hair care routine to see some, if any, results. How can this magical elixir do so much in so little time.
The truth is, sometimes we need to just turn back to simpler rituals and trust the process.

Styling with The Magic Oil

Apply 2-3 drops of Magic Oil to your palms and rub your hands together.

Apply to ends of hair and work your way up spreading the oil over your hair.

Style and enjoy frizz free, beautiful, shiny hair. Works well after heat styling too.
Magic Oil Mask Treatment

Apply drops of oil on scalp and throughout hair. Massage oil into scalp with fingers or Grow Brush.

Allow oil to absorb into hair for at least 30-90 minutes. Shower as normal.

Enjoy instantly smoother hair. You can apply more oil as a leave in treatment to keep hair smooth and shiny.

I've only ever had cheap brushes, or the ones that come free with hair straighteners etc. I have very fine, colour treated hair and brushing is always tedious as it knots easily, especially when damp. This brush has been a game changer and I'm so glad I made the investment! Not only for general brushing, but for slick ponytails and controlling flyaways when styling too. I was hesitant to use the repair oil as my hair is naturally oily at the roots, however it is super light when applied and making a big difference to my ends already! My favourite haircare brand! After trying the amazing Magic Oil last year I had to get the new Magic Cream. I’ve been using it the last 2 weeks and my hair has never felt softer or been shinier, also noticed less breakage during washes or when I brush it. My hair is super long and prone to dry ends so I normally struggle to find a leave- in that isn’t greasy or that weighs my hair down, so I’ll definitely be incorporating this in my growth routine. I was very skeptical of this brush and especially so considering the price but decided to splurge when I bought the oil. Honestly it feels really gentle on the scalp and different to other brushes, also it really does smooth the hair! I’ve been loving using it and it’s worth the splurge in price for me. Makes brushing hair and doing haircare all the more fun
